Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage security controls for Microsoft Azure, M365 environments, and other business areas as required.
Develop and implement Zero Trust security architectures and strategies.
Manage and maintain access management (IAM) systems and processes.
Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks.
Monitor security systems and analyze security events escalated from our managed SOC to detect and respond to incidents.
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
Provide technical security guidance and support to other IT teams and business areas.
Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
Lead security projects and initiatives.
Maintain good stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills.
Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
Certification in CISSP or CISM.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical security roles.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft 365 security features.
Extensive experience with Zero Trust security principles and implementation.
Deep understanding of access management (IAM) concepts and technologies, including EntraID.
Experience with government systems and audits such as OneLogin or GovAssure is highly desirable.
Experience with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, CyberEssentials Plus, and CIS.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong work ethic and commitment to security best practices.
