Your new role

The Senior Application Support Engineer is a highly experienced and skilled professional responsible for providing expert-level technical support and guidance to ICT teams and users. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of the council's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications. Moreover, you are responsible for providing expert-level technical support to users and resolving complex IT issues that cannot be resolved by 1st or 2nd line support teams. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that the council's IT infrastructure and systems are operating efficiently and reliably.

Skills you'll need to succeed

Required

NEC Housing and associated Interfaces knowledge.

Oracle SQL / MS SQL / MS Access database skills. - Toad and/or Oracle SQL Developer

Interface testing and troubleshooting skills.

Windows server skills.

Data manipulation skills.

PowerShell or Visual Basic scripting skills.

Good communication skills, both written and oral.

Nice to have

SAP Business Objects reporting knowledge.

SAP Data Services knowledge.

CA Workflow Automation knowledge.

API knowledge.

Unix Shell Programming.
