About the Role

As a Security Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our security initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of our products. You will have the opportunity to design systems, tools, and solutions that enable mission-critical applications to scale securely. You will contribute to organization-wide initiatives aimed at automating, optimizing, and enhancing security measures.

  1. Craft security solutions that not only meet high standards but also delight our developers and customers alike.
  2. Be an integral part of key security initiatives such as identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, security control implementation, and infrastructure security.
  3. Foster close collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring the delivery of secure, highly reliable, and scalable solutions to our valued customers.
  4. With our rapidly growing customer base, you will contribute to solving intriguing technical challenges, helping scale our product to meet increasing demand.
  5. Participate in our team's on-call rotation, promptly addressing and resolving security issues as they arise.

The Ideal Candidate

  1. 5+ years as a Security Engineer in an enterprise environment, with a focus on infrastructure and implementing security controls while closely collaborating with the SRE team.
  2. Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Security Incident Response.
  3. Your technical proficiency includes AWS Security, Vulnerability Management, Security Incident Response, and Risk Management.
  4. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails for tool development.
