Our mission is to protect Amazon'scorporate services, systems, and data. We engage proactively withdevelopment teams to understand business processes and enablesecure innovation, building, and scaling. The Product Security Teamwithin CPSS supports numerous AWS-based applications. We alsoencourage engineers to pursue passion projects while maintainingwork-life balance. Key Responsibilities 1. Create, update, andmaintain threat models for web applications hosted on cloudplatforms. 2. Perform manual and automated secure code reviews,primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript. 3. Develop securityautomation tools. 4. Conduct adversarial security analysis usingthe latest tools to augment manual efforts. 5. Provide securitytraining and outreach to internal development teams. 6. Offersecurity architecture and design guidance to applicationdevelopment teams. 7. Solve complex security problemsindependently, often requiring innovative approaches. 8. Influenceteam and partner processes, priorities, and strategies using datato improve security outcomes. 9. Communicate effectively withsenior leaders and stakeholders through oral and written channels.Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science orequivalent. - Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS,and TCP/IP. - Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift,Java, .Net, C++, or similar object-oriented languages. - Experiencewith threat modeling or other risk identification techniques.Preferred Qualifications - Experience with AWS products andservices. - Experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identitymanagement, authentication, cryptography, system administration, ornetwork security. - Proficiency in programming languages such asPython, Java, or C++.
