This position supports AWSSecurity Engineers and Technical Program Managers with securityoperations and incident response activities. You will beresponsible for coordinating and facilitating security responseactivities for a wide range of AWS products and services. You willdrive “Tier 1” and "Tier 2" related issues to resolution acrossnumerous service teams. Key job responsibilities You will need acombination of troubleshooting, technical, security incidentresponse, and communication skills, as well as the ability tohandle an assortment of disparate tasks which may includesmall-project and software development work. This role will providecareer growth opportunities as you gain new security skills in thecourse of your duties. A day in the life Primarily you will focuson incident response duties related to live security issues. Youwill also invent and simplify by automating response and reportingactivities, fine tuning processes, and collaborate on complexprograms with global teams. You will participate in day-timeon-call activities rotated between your peers to keep our customerssecure 365 days a year. About the team The AWS SOC team isdedicated to supporting new members. BASICQUALIFICATIONS - BS degree in Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, Electrical Engineering, or 3+ years’ equivalenttechnology experience. - Minimum of 2 years or more of demonstratedexperience with a focus in areas such as systems, network, and/orapplication security. - Minimum of 2 years’ experience on aSecurity Operations team, especially experience coordinatingresponses to security incidents.
