About The Company & Role

A long-established leader in the security and alarm systems industry, this company delivers high-quality installations and maintenance services across both domestic and commercial sectors throughout Leicester and surrounding regions. With over three decades of industry expertise, the team prides itself on providing reliable, bespoke solutions tailored to each client. This role is ideal for an experienced Installation Engineer looking to join a professional, well-respected operation, installing and commissioning a wide range of security systems including intruder alarms, CCTV, fire detection, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities



Service and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV systems, door access systems, and fire security systems

*

Work at client sites across Derby and surrounding areas

*

Diagnose and resolve faults on a range of security systems

*

Liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction and operational understanding

*

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and works carried out

*

Participate in an on-call rota (1 week in every 4, excluding Friday of that week)

*

Ensure compliance with industry standards, health & safety procedures, and company policies

Skills & Experience

*

Proven experience within the Fire and Security industry – essential

*

Skilled in fault-finding and diagnostics – essential

*

Advanced maintenance and system service knowledge – preferred

*

Familiarity with British Standards relating to fire and security systems – essential

*

Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with office staff, managers, and clients – essential

*

Full UK driving licence – required
