Security Engineer Opportunity – Southwest Region

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Overtime

Our client—a leading provider of integrated security solutions—is seeking a proactive and reliable engineer to join their team in the Swindon area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale, high-end systems across a diverse client base.

Security Engineer Role Overview

As a Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for fault diagnostics, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive out-of-hours support. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity and safety of critical infrastructure, requiring a high level of vetting due to the sensitive nature of the sites.

Security Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to service calls and complete updates via the helpdesk system

  • Deliver courteous, efficient, and professional service at all times

  • Maintain the company vehicle in good working order

  • Support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment

  • Participate in the call-out rota and adapt to flexible working hours

  • Uphold company standards and management systems

  • Assist the Service Manager with additional duties as required

  • Access Control with Site Mustering

  • DVR & NVR systems

  • On-site repair capability

  • Synergy, Video Matrix Systems, IP Networks

  • RAID Recording, Gate & Barrier first-line repairs
