Security Architect – Zero Trust – 6 months – Fully Remote – Outside of IR35

My Customer is seeking a highly skilled Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of aZero Trustsecurity architecture leveragingMicrosoft security technologies. This role is critical to enhancing our security posture and aligning our infrastructure with modern, identity-centric security principles.

Key Responsibilities of the Security Architect:


  • Design and maintain a scalable Zero Trust architecture aligned with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions that enforce Zero Trust principles.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft security tools (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, Defender suite, Purview, Sentinel).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to unify security efforts under a common Zero Trust framework.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver secure, seamless authentication and authorization experiences.
  • Establish continuous monitoring, threat detection, and real-time incident response protocols.
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft security tools for advanced threat protection and policy enforcement.
  • Define and implement security policies, standards, and procedures supporting Zero Trust.
  • Act as a key liaison between IT leadership and the broader business to promote Zero Trust awareness and adoption.
  • Provide training and guidance to IT staff and business units on Zero Trust strategies and tools.


Skills required from the Security Architect:


  • Experience in Cybersecurity focussing on Zero Trust Architecture
  • Experience with Microsoft Security tools (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, Defender suite, Purview, Sentinel).
  • Experience with Azure, Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Experience with IAM, monitoring and Network Security


The Security Architect isOutside of IR35and can workfully remotewith potential travel abroad (Germany/Switzerland) – Travel expenses would be covered.
