Compensation: Competitive Salary, car allowance, benefits, and performance-related bonus
Fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role as a Security Architect. The Security Architect will create a high-level cloud security architecture aligned with the CTO cloud strategy, working with key service providers. The role is hybrid working based either in London or Manchester, with a policy of two days a week office-based and three days remote.
What will you be doing? Creation of a Cloud Security Architecture
Creation of a roadmap to implement the architectural building blocks
Creating traceable requirements from business requirements through to technical controls
Relaying requirements from the DCC business to the design team
Assisting the Design team to relay technical requirements to service provider delivery teams
Leading technical meetings with service providers
What are we looking for? Experience as a Cloud Security Architect of complex environments in multi-cloud deployments. Preferably includes experience of outsourced environments, Group/Market (hub and spoke) organisations, systems integrators. Telecoms background and experience of digital transformation from on-prem to hybrid/full cloud models would be a bonus.
Able to process conflicting project requirements into a strategic framework and drive delivery with several diverse stakeholders.
The architectural approach will follow the DCC Security Architecture Framework (based on CSA CCM) and the candidate must demonstrate a logical approach to delivery of components and show a roadmap with dependencies, business requirements, and next steps required from additional stakeholders.
Experience working as a consultant or architect reporting into C-level, with the ability to understand and explain Security Strategy in detail, justifying strategic decisions even when it means delaying tactical decisions.
Demonstrated technical background and understanding of a full suite of security components, their risk reduction capabilities, and interdependencies in an enterprise environment.
