Venn Group Security Architect SC Cleared 12 Month Contract Hybrid working in North East£600 - £750 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella)

Our client require a Senior Security Architect to join them on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of secure system architectures across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and security communities to embed robust security practices.
  • Drive technical analysis, identifying areas for architectural improvement and reuse of effective solutions across similar systems.
  • Translate complex security and risk considerations into clear guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor junior architects, acting as a technical escalation point and contributing to overall quality assurance.

Skills/Experience Required:

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and reviewing secure systems using architectural patterns and security principles.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS Cloud, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and encryption protocols for data at rest and in transit.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, application security and database security within microservices-based architectures.
