Role: Security Analyst
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £40,000

Are you a Security Analyst looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you have a passion for cybersecurity and want to be part of a company that makes a real impact?

I'm working with a leading security service provider that partners with some of the UK's largest organisations to deliver a range of high-level security services, including penetration testing, major incident response, digital forensics, and security monitoring. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Security Analyst to join their dynamic team.

What You'll Be Doing:

Security Monitoring & Incident Response - Investigate and respond to security alerts from the SIEM system, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities before they escalate.
Threat Detection & Remediation - Analyse and action remediation plans to mitigate security risks.
Vulnerability Management - Perform regular vulnerability scans and provide detailed reports to improve system security.
Client Change Management - Work closely with clients to manage and implement security-related changes in their systems.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing - Work alongside expert security professionals to develop your skills and knowledge in an environment that encourages continuous learning.What We're Looking For:

Experience in IT or cybersecurity (ideally 1-3 years in a security or IT role).
Understanding of SIEM tools and incident response processes.
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
A passion for cybersecurity and eagerness to learn and develop within the field.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a passion for cyber security, and a couple of years in IT/Security roles to develop as an engineer very quickly in a security focussed environment, one not to be missed.
