Location : Birmingham

Salary : £70,000 - £100,000 + OTE + Car (Realistic package £140,000)

My client who are based in Birmingham are recruiting for a Sales Director who has got experience in IT/Telecommunications. This role offers huge development and progression opportunities. Duties

You will develop and manage a successful, high-performing sales team, ensuring your teams engaged, motivated and consistently achieving targets.

You’ll oversee all aspects of the sales function, aligning digital, telemarketing, field sales, and account management to drive revenue growth and ensure a smooth customer journey.

Maximise the effectiveness of lead generation activities, marketing activity, HubSpot sales system adoption and integration; or any such future platform as the board so chooses.

Your expertise in unified comms, connectivity and telecoms solutions will be key in securing new business, identifying opportunities and driving market expansion.

You’ll work with key corporate and SME clients, delivering high-level sales consultancy, strengthening relationships and ensuring retention and growth.

A natural networker, you’ll know the key players in the sector and will know how to leverage your network to the companys best advantage and ultimately, help shape a better customer experience.

You’ll refine sales strategies, improve workflows between teams and ensure the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction.

You’ll be accountable for revenue generation, forecasting and ensuring profitability across all aspects of sales operations.

You will be responsible for driving organic growth, as well as providing strategic planning and execution of highly effective sales methodologies.

This role offers the opportunity for you to be instrumental in all aspects of business growth and development, shaping the sales strategy, building a high-performing team, and ensuring seamless processes across digital engagement, telemarketing, field sales, and customer experience.

What You’ll Bring

Proven sales leadership experience within telecoms, unified comms and connectivity is essential; Managed IT & Cybersecurity is desirable.

A strong track record of building, developing and leading thriving sales teams, driving both individual and team success.

A deep understanding of the sales process, from telemarketing through to field sales, ensuring seamless integration and effectiveness.

A customer-centric approach, brimming with ideas on how to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

An engaging and inspirational leadership style, capable of energising and motivating teams to exceed targets.

A strategic mindset, balancing high-level business growth initiatives with hands-on sales and account management.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence & engage at all levels.

A commercially astute approach, with experience in revenue growth, forecasting, and profitability management.

A full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel as needed across the West Midlands and occasionally, the rest of the UK
