Sales Director, Telecoms, Managed IT, COR7201


This is an enviable time for a hungry and ambitious Sales Director with strong experience of the telecoms and managed IT space, to be instrumental in all aspects of business growth and development within a dynamic, ambitious and growing business, based in stunning new offices in Birmingham.


The Role

In an autonomous and highly-influential role, the Sales Director will shape the sales strategy, provide strategic planning and execution of highly-effective sales methodologies, and lead, develop and manage a high-performing sales team, as they sell telecoms, unified comms, mobile, connectivity, managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity solutions to a wide range of predominantly SME clients in the Midlands area. A "player-manager", the Sales Director will drive and support the sales team to hit individual sales and recurring revenue targets, whilst working directly with key corporate and SME clients to deliver high-level sales consultancy, securing new business, and strengthening existing relationships to ensure retention and growth.

The Sales Director will be joining a well-established brand, with over 60 years of history and a reputation for excellence within the telecommunications industry. A highly-acquisitive business, the company is constantly evolving and building upon its much sought-after position within the UK comms market.


Package:

  • Basic salary to £70k
  • Uncapped commission - both individual and team-based - with an expected OTE of £120k
  • Car allowance/company car
  • 25 days holiday
  • Pension
  • Healthcare


What do I need?

  • Proven sales leadership and experience gained within telecoms, managed IT and cybersecurity
  • A strong track record of building, developing and leading motivated sales teams
  • To lead by example with a hunger to remain hands-on within sales, whilst energising the team to hit their own targets
  • Experience of selling to a wide range of customers and industries, but with experience of selling to SME businesses preferred
