Regional Sales Manager – Electrical & Mechanical Infrastructure
Field-based role | Career growth opportunity

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Car + Excellent bonus scheme

Locations: Scotland, Northern Ireland & North East England

At NPP, we’re working on behalf of a market leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical and mechanical infrastructure products - a business known for its quality, innovation, and commitment to powering and protecting projects. With a strong and respected brand portfolio behind them, they offer an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to take the reins and drive growth across an established territory.

About the Role
This is a hands on, field-based sales role covering your region five days a week. You’ll be primarily responsible for managing and growing relationships with electrical wholesalers, while also engaging with consultants, contractors, OEMs, and other key stakeholders. You’ll sell across a wide range of cable management, conduit, and framing systems, with a strong focus on identifying opportunities for cross-selling across the product portfolio.

You’ll work closely with the Business Development Manager and internal sales team to convert opportunities, expand existing accounts, and uncover new business - all while delivering against sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth within your region by managing and developing key wholesale accounts.

  • Promote the full range of infrastructure and cable management solutions with a focus on identifying and executing cross sell opportunities.

  • Understand the specific needs of various customer groups - wholesalers, contractors, consultants, OEMs - and tailor your approach accordingly.

  • Build trusted relationships with decision makers at all levels within your customer base.

  • Stay current with market trends and competitor activity, using this intelligence to open new doors and strengthen your sales strategy.

  • Collaborate with marketing, commercial and internal sales teams to ensure a joined up approach to the market.

  • Track and report on pipeline activity, customer visits, and market insights to support wider business goals.

  • Continuously enhance your product and industry knowledge through training and self-development.

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a similar regional or field sales role, ideally within the construction, electrical wholesale, or cable management sectors.

  • Strong understanding of selling into wholesalers with a proven ability to cross-sell complementary product ranges.

  • Commercially aware, with the ability to identify new opportunities and turn them into long-term business.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.

  • Confident working autonomously while remaining a collaborative team player.

  • Fully IT literate and comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
