To support the Quality Assurance (QA) Department in the implementation and maintenance of the HCPC's Quality Assurance Framework, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Main Duties & Key Responsibilities
Your principal duties and key responsibilities will be those set out below. In addition to those duties, the HCPC reserves the right to require you to undertake additional or other duties within your capacity as may from time to time be reasonably required and necessary to meet the needs of the HCPC.

Quality Assurance

  • Assist in the delivery and development of the Quality Assurance Framework.
  • Undertake regular and ad-hoc quality assurance activities, including audits, reviews, assessments and advisory work, covering all areas of the organisation.
  • Assist with gathering information, data and evidence in relation to QA activities.
  • Collate, analyse and draw conclusions on organisational information and data, and record your findings accurately and transparently.
  • Provide timely, robust and independent feedback to the audit lead on the quality of decision-making, outputs and outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for development and continual improvement across the organisation and discuss them with the QA Managers / QA Programme Lead.

    General
  • Understand the information security requirements for information accessed or processed in carrying out the duties of the role, treating the information with appropriate care as set out in the Information Classification and Handling Policy.
  • Carry out the responsibilities of the post with due regard to the HCPC's Equality and Diversity Policy and to treat colleagues and other HCPC stakeholders with respect and dignity at all times.
  • Assist the QA Programme Lead with other activities in the QA Department, where appropriate.

    The Assurance and Compliance department manages the quality assurance of our regulatory functions, internal audit and compliance, feedback and complaints, and information governance for the HCPC. We act as a key driver for learning and continuous improvement across the organisation. We are a close-knit department who work collaboratively to ensure the delivery of high-quality audits, reporting and learning.
