Location: Dorchester, Dorset
Contract Type: Temporary (3 months)
Salary: £16.10 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Hybrid

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Administrator to join a small, busy team within Dorset Council working on the Our Future Council programme.

You will support and coordinate the operation of the Programme Management Office (PMO) in developing and delivering Dorset Council's major programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Service Manager and PMO Officers to manage strategic programme information and data
Produce management information and reports
Maintain security and integrity of all programme documentation (e.g., project plans, risks and issues, actions, project briefs, highlight reports, budgets and contracts) on SharePoint or other systems, ensuring compliance with Information Security requirements and legislation
Liaise confidently with directors, councillors, and external stakeholders in the context of board and other governance meetings
Track and monitor projects and collect feedback
Update project records and SharePoint data
Arrange meetings, take minutes, and follow up on actionsRequired Skills and Qualifications:

Strong administrative background
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Experience with MS Project and SharePoint is advantageous
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
