Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.
Opticore IT is currently searching for a Network Security Engineer to join our client on medium to large-scale projects involving design, implementation, and support of Prisma SDWAN and Prisma Access solutions with various clients. This is a hybrid position with occasional client site visits, potentially 1 day a week at most .
This is a 6-month contract inside IR35, which is highly likely to be extended.
What you'll be doing:
Representing Opticore, working with our client, a leader in security, delivering multiple SDWAN projects.
Collaborating directly with clients to help them achieve their goals and understand their needs versus wants.
Engaging with customers during discovery, design, implementation, and handover phases.
Addressing a variety of issues related to products and internal networks.
Becoming an SME on their product set and the main contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle (design & implementation).
Assisting customers with hardware sizing.
What you'll bring:
A consultative mindset and approach.
Proven experience delivering Prisma Access or Prisma SDWAN projects.
Confidence to communicate and push back to clients or internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
A strong background in networking.
