Opticore IT is currently searching for a Network Security Engineer to join our client on medium to large-scale projects involving design, implementation, and support on Prisma SDWAN and Prisma Access projects with various clients. This opportunity is a hybrid position with the need to visit the client site occasionally, potentially 1 day a week at most .
This is a 6-month contract inside IR35, which is highly likely to be extended.
What you'll be doing:
Advocating for Opticore, working with our client, who is a leader in security, delivering multiple projects focused on their SDWAN solution.
Working directly with clients, helping them achieve their goals and understand the difference between their wants and needs.
Engaging with customers during the discovery, design, implementation, and handover phases.
Dealing with a variety of issues, from product-related to internal network problems.
Becoming an SME on their product set and the main contact point for the client throughout the project lifecycle (design & implementation).
Assisting customers with hardware sizing.
What you'll bring:
A consultative mindset and approach.
Proven experience delivering Prisma Access or Prisma SDWAN projects.
Confidence to push back to clients or internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
A solid background in networking.
