Client: Following the recent appointment of a standout Operations Director (ex Dornan Engineering) my client has seen a significant period of growth within the healthcare, education and commercial sectors. The business boasts an enviable track record and they have made significant investment in London over the last 5 years. Their current turnover sits at £55m per annum and they have a full order book for this and next year. Following recent restructure and growth, my client has had a complete revamp seeing turnover increase by 33% in the past year. Given the new senior leadership team, they expect the next 5 years to be similar in terms of growth and profits.

Role: Mechanical Project Manager - £85,000 - £95,000 + Travel + Healthcare + Pension + Other Benefits

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a £25m+ M&E Package consisting of laboratories, lecture theatres and teaching facilities. You will have a team of engineers and construction managers to assist with preconstruction and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Handover meeting with QS/Estimator

  • Technical Submittals

  • Procurement

  • Sub-contractor and Labour Management

  • Cost Control

  • Progress Reporting

  • Health & Safety

  • Project & Programme Implementation

  • Understanding of design and drawings

  • Technical & Progress Meetings

  • Regular Site Inspection and Snagging

  • Compilation of O&M Manuals

    The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working within the Labs, Healthcare or Office Sector

  • Experience in a project management role

  • Longevity in previous employment

  • Have relationships with relevant supply chain including subcontractors and suppliers.
