    As my clients accountant, you will support key financial processes, whilst also being the a first point of contact collaboration with external consultants and support providers. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your financial and accounting skills within a supportive environment.

    Responsibilities:
    Please note, you will not need to be highly technical in IT, but will have strong basic IT system and accountng software user knoeledge. Your accounting skills will however be at AAT level.
    We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Accountant to support the financial and operational management of our clients projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate project setup, financial tracking, and ongoing coordination between finance and project teams. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys working with both numbers, accounting, IT and people, and who takes pride in keeping projects running smoothly so that key decision makers can make informed choices.
    Responsibiltes Include:
    Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
    Assist with project invoicing, timesheet tracking, and month‑end processes
    Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including interim budgets.
    Help ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
    Experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally with exposure to project environments.
    Contribute to compliance with tax, PAYE, VAT, pensions, and insurance obligations.
    Learn and contribute to the development of financial controls and systems.
    Promote data protection compliance.
    Ideally some knowlege of cybersecurity issues.
    Preferred Experience:
  • AAT qualified or studying and/or looking to study for ACCA or CIMA.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • User of Accountng digital tools, or tech-enabled process improvement·. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset, thorough attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Keen interest in keeping up to date with latest accounting and software accounting trends.
