Senior Project Manager - Permanent

Salary: Up to £70,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Our client is a leading technology consultancy based in London, delivering strategic IT, security, and infrastructure solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. They are offering an exciting opportunity to join their Consulting team as a Senior Project Manager.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex, high-impact technical projects across multiple client environments. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while also mentoring junior project managers and contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of digital transformation, infrastructure, and security projects for enterprise clients.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Act as a senior escalation point for project issues, ensuring effective resolution and communication.
Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
Support the onboarding of new clients and services, ensuring a smooth transition to business-as-usual (BAU) operational support.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to track progress and performance.
Contribute to the development and refinement of project delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
Line manage and mentor junior project managers and project coordinators, supporting their professional development.

Key Skills and Experience

Proven experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects in a client-facing environment.
Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and service transition processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, PMP).
Familiarity with infrastructure, cloud, or cybersecurity projects.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience in line management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with competing priorities.
Experience in reporting and forecasting project performance to senior leadership.
