Do you come from a technical infrastructure background with a sharp focus on operational excellence and strategic impact? We're partnering with a prominent player in the insurance sector to find an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead day-to-day IT functions across a multi-site environment.

This is a high-impact role, reporting directly to the CIO, with broad responsibility across infrastructure, cloud platforms, vendor management, business continuity, and team leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Overseeing IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud systems, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Managing IT team performance, training, and development.

Leading relationships with third-party vendors and partners, ensuring service delivery aligns with business goals.

Driving continuous improvement across systems availability, security, and compliance.

Supporting strategic planning and implementation of infrastructure and ICT projects.

Defining IT policies, managing licensing, SLAs, and operational risks.

What You’ll Bring:

5+ years’ experience in IT management, ideally within financial services or a regulated industry.

Strong track record managing cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure, O365).

Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, and ITSM (e.g., ITIL).

Proven team leadership with a proactive, solutions-led approach.

Experience managing vendors, contracts, and service-level delivery.

Solid understanding of network security, data protection, and infrastructure design.

Location & Travel:

Based in Dublin with occasional travel to regional offices.

Own car is essential
