In this role, the successful field based IT Network Engineer will work with Hotels across the North of England and parts of Scotland, operating autonomously installing, maintaining and supporting IT, WiFi and telecoms systems for both existing and new customers. This role does involve frequent travel and some overnight stays.

This role would suit an Infrastructure Engineer with solid 2nd line experience who's looking to step into a field-based position that offers extensive hands-on exposure, continuous training, and clear progression into more senior technical roles.

The Role

Install, configure, and support IT, network, and telecoms systems (including WiFi) at client sites
Primarily field-based across the North of England and Scotland
Participate in a rotational on-call schedule
Expect some overnight stays due to travel requirementsThe Person

Strong background in IT networks/infrastructure support
Experience with systems such as Windows Server, DHCP, DNS, Azure, Cisco, Mitel
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay away when required
