IInfrastructure and Network Engineer – Hybrid – Onsite near Cardiff initially but can be more remote as contract goes on

Inside IR35

We're looking for an IT-Operational Technology (OT) Specialist to support and maintain infrastructure that connects IT systems to operational (OT) equipment in a manufacturing environment.

You'll work on servers (physical/virtual), networks, firewalls, and backup solutions, helping ensure OT systems run securely and efficiently. It’s a hybrid role with some on-site work in Barry.

What we need:

Solid IT infrastructure background (Windows Server, AD, VMs, networking (Fortinet would be ideal))

Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices

Good troubleshooting skills across IT & OT systems

Able to work with engineering and IT teams

Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings a bonus

Nice to have:

Cisco, CompTIA or cyber/security certs

Experience with industrial automation, SCADA, etc.
