ICT Teacher – KS3 to KS4
Location: Worksop
Salary: £140 - £190 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Easter Term of 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

"Are you an enthusiastic ICT Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive secondary school?" If so, GSL Education are seeking a dedicated ICT Teacher to join a secondary school in Worksopfrom Easter Term 2025. This opportunity is available to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who have completed their training and are ready to take the first step in their teaching profession.

As an ICT Teacher, you will inspire students to develop their digital skills and understanding of computing concepts, ensuring they are well-prepared for the modern world. You will play a key role in engaging students through dynamic lessons that explore programming, cybersecurity, data management, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities of the ICT Teacher:

Deliver engaging and well-structured ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Introduce students to programming, software development, and digital literacy.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning.
Foster a passion for technology and its real-world applications.
Use innovative teaching methods and technology to support student engagement.
Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and academic achievement.
Mandatory Requirements for the ICT Teacher:

The successful candidate must hold a PGCE in ICT (or a related subject) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an equivalent certification.
Be able to provide a ten-year career history with relevant reference details covering the last two years, including your most recent place of academic employment.
Strong subject knowledge with a passion for ICT and Computing education.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
