HGV Technician Needed in Chorley

Location: Chorley Working Hours: Alternating shifts – Week 1: Mon–Thurs 7am–6pm | Week 2: Tues–Fri 7am–6pm | Alternate Saturday mornings 7am–12pm Salary: Up to £50,500 basic including bonuses & Saturdays, rising to around £53,000 OTE with additional bonuses for MOT and Class 1 Licence

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial vehicle repair business, now looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their busy workshop in the Chorley area. Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician:
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.Strip, fit, and replace components as required.Maintain accurate job records and uphold workshop quality standards.What We’re Looking For in an HGV Technician:
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent (time-served also considered).Proven experience in commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Methodical approach with attention to detail and commitment to quality.Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 advantageous).Benefits for the HGV Technician:
