Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for an Executive Assistant for one of our well-known clients based in Edinburgh. This role is a 12-month FTC and will be a hybrid working pattern.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, the ability to work well under pressure and has experience in the legal sector.

As an Executive Assistant, you’ll be responsible for making and amending appointments, minute taking and organising information for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make and amend appointments and consultations, arrange meeting rooms and track responses.

  • Anticipate requirements for meeting, for example: organise papers, produce itinerary, background information.

  • Follow up on meetings, for example: contact details/further appointments required.

  • Proactively organises partner management information for the division/team.

  • Ensure that messages are communicated and dealt with professionally and proactively.

  • Undertaking some specialist duties e.g. finance, marketing/business development and paralegal.

  • Minute taking where appropriate.

  • Provide assistance to other Executive Assistants as required.

  • Learn and work in accordance with information security policies and protect information.

    Requirements:

  • Should have knowledge and experience of working within a busy Litigation team.

  • Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Excellent organisational skills.

  • Highly motivated and can use initiative.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Can work independently and in a team.

  • Fast accurate typist – 60 wpm.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
