We’re looking for aData Protection Consultantwho’s not only confident with GDPR but also passionate about helping schools and academies safeguard sensitive information. What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on consultancy role with real variety. You’ll be:

  • Building strong relationships with school and academy clients, acting as their trusted advisor on data protection
  • Conducting audits and risk assessments, identifying gaps and delivering practical, tailored solutions
  • Leading on data breach management, offering calm, expert guidance when it matters most
  • Reviewing and developing clear, up-to-date policies and procedures
  • Delivering engaging training sessions (in-person and online) to support staff compliance
  • Producing professional reports and analysis, backed by your critical thinking and research skills


What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:

  • Solid experience in data protection, GDPR compliance, or consultancy (ideally with some exposure to the education sector)
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to explain complex issues simply
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365, plus confidence in adapting to new systems
  • A proactive approach and willingness to continuously learn
  • Experience supporting schools or academies is desirable, but not essential
