Job Description

We are looking for a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to join the Watches at Switzerland Group at our Support Centre in Leicester, Carlton Park. As the DPO, you will manage risk and legal compliance associated with data protection and freedom of information obligations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), liaising closely with key stakeholders across the Group to establish best practices.

You are expected to adopt a commercial outlook, ensuring that the Group can leverage its use of data to drive positive commercial outcomes in a safe and responsible manner.

About You

  • Lawyer or governance/compliance professional.
  • Expert knowledge of GDPR and the ability to interpret and analyse complex qualitative and quantitative information, primary and secondary legislation, and report back.
  • Commercial awareness: must be mindful of the commercial objectives of the business when delivering compliance assistance.
  • Commitment and enthusiasm.
  • Embraces change: should be adaptable to the changing requirements of regulations and keen to develop new skills.
  • Able to build strong and effective relationships both internally and externally.
