A rare and compelling opportunity has arisen for a talented data protection and cybersecurity Lawyer to join the London office of a premier US law firm. This is a team deeply embedded in the global tech ecosystem – trusted by the world’s most innovative businesses to navigate complex, high-stakes regulatory and investigatory challenges across the digital sphere.

Working across a vibrant international platform, including close collaboration with colleagues in Brussels and the U.S., you’ll be advising on the full spread of UK and EU data protection law, alongside an increasingly diverse set of digital regulatory frameworks such as the DSA, DMA, AI Act and Online Safety Act. Expect to be involved in mission-critical matters including cross-border data transfer strategies, privacy issues in corporate transactions, major data breach response, and regulator-led investigations spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Candidates should be England & Wales qualified, with 2-4 years’ PQE and a demonstrable focus on UK data protection and cybersecurity law. A strong academic record and polished communication skills are essential. Experience with tech-driven clients, regulator engagement, or digital platform compliance will be well regarded, as will technical literacy in web technologies and network infrastructure.
