We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and hardworking individual to join our Data Protection team as a Data Protection Analyst.

The successful individual will report into our Group Data Protection Officer and be responsible for undertaking the tasks necessary to demonstrate the Group’s compliance with the relevant data privacy laws and regulations (such as GDPR), especially focussed on producing management information (MI) and related KRIs outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Produce the required monthly MI and KRIs to the agreed timeline.
Provide commentary for the monthly MI and KRIs to explain any variances and exceptions.
Investigate the root causes of any variances and exceptions.
Maintain and update the key DP sources of information required to produce the DP MI and KRIs;
Breach log
DP Impact Assessment log (inc. screening tests)
Legitimate Interest Assessment log
Records of Processing Activities (for each Controller)
Privacy Notice log
Cookie compliance log
DP Training and awareness log
Liaise with Operational teams on 1st line related DP MI & KRIs:
Data Subject Requests (DSARs, erasure, disclosure etc.)
Marketing Preference changes
Complaints relating to data privacy
List of outbound CLIs to send regularly to ICO
Assist with any other ad-hoc analysis and tasks, as required by the DP team.
In line with all DP team roles, cover for other colleagues when required (e.g. UK, EU, US

Skills And Experience Required

Knowledge of D&G systems will be required (such as; Scheme, Genio, ServiceNow).
Sound knowledge of Data Protection Privacy Law UK and regulations e.g. GDPR
Proficient in MS Office suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Interpersonal Skills and capable building effective working relationships
Critical Thinker capable of advising on best practices with data protection
Sufficient Presentation Skills,
Solid understanding of extended warranty knowledge and the services provided to it
