Job Description
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to analyse, identify, rectify & recommend specific improvement measures that help in the security posture of the organization by protecting sensitive information.
Responsibilities
Ensuring customer centricity by providing apt cybersecurity solutions.
Monitoring and safeguarding log sources and security access.
Planning for disaster recovery in case of security breaches.
Monitoring for attacks, intrusions, and unusual or illegal activities.
Performing log reviews and forensic analysis to identify unauthorized access.
Conducting security assessments, risk, and root cause analyses.
Handling security incidents escalated by the L1 team in rotational shifts.
Using analytics tools to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Completing tactical security operations tasks.
Analyzing attacks and providing remedial actions.
Creating reports and dashboards based on incident analysis.
Stakeholder Coordination & Audit Support
Liaising with stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues and providing recommendations.
Maintaining security risk registers and assisting with audits.
Supporting cybersecurity awareness training for colleagues.
Providing guidance on spam and malicious emails.

Customer satisfaction through timely security breach solutions.
Adherence to SLAs (90-95%) and response/resolution times.
