So, what will I be doing?

This Role is a Hybrid Working Role - A successful candidate would be expected to work 2-3 days per week at our acorn house site in somerset.


As Cybersecurity Analyst you will be joining the IT team in a distinctive, ambitious and trusted manufacturing company that is committed to making great British dairy the right way. Forever. Working closely with the cybersecurity manager, you will be responsible for helping to keep the company safe from cybersecurity threats.This Role is a 3 month fixed term-contract.


This is a really good opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in Cyber Security, especially if you've had a job working in an IT team or if you're used to working with large sets of data. Alternatively, if you've studied IT or a data focused subject to a high level, we'd be keen to hear from you.


Your key responsibilities will include:

Investigating alerts from our monitoring systems or as reported by our users. Carrying out regular tests to ensure the security and resiliency of our systems. Helping us put in new cyber security products

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

You'll be comfortable with Windows computers, being able to make large changes to them and understand how they work. You'll need to be able to analyse big sets of data, whether it's with Microsoft Excel or Power BI or other tools. A full drivers license to travel between our sites Some experience working in IT or in a data focused role, or some relevant qualifications for IT or analysing data.

These skills aren't essential but understanding of these systems or concepts would be a bonus:

Firewalls Cyber Security standards or frameworks Core Networking Active Directory Office 365 Powershell or scripting languages
