Computing Curriculum Lead - Hounslow, Outer London - September Start

An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a passionate and experienced Computing Curriculum Lead to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled educator to take a leadership role in shaping a modern and engaging Computing curriculum.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary on the Outer London MPS/UPS, plus a TLR for curriculum leadership responsibilities. The school offers excellent facilities, a strong CPD programme, and a collaborative working environment.

Role Overview:

Lead the development and delivery of a high-quality Computing curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable).

Inspire students through innovative teaching of topics including programming, cybersecurity, algorithms, and digital literacy.

Support and develop colleagues within the department, promoting excellence in teaching and learning.

Monitor student progress and ensure high levels of achievement across all year groups.

Stay abreast of the latest developments in Computing education and integrate new technologies and pedagogies into classroom practice.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A degree in Computer Science or a related subject

Experience of delivering Computing at secondary level (KS3-KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)

Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills

A track record of raising student outcomes and driving curriculum improvement
