Computer Science Teacher - Secondary School - Crewe
Start Date: September | Full-Time | Long-Term Position

Tradewind Recruitment is excited to be working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Crewe, currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the potential to continue for the full academic year and possibly transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of digital innovators and equip students with essential skills for the modern world.

About the Role:

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Plan, prepare and assess lessons that meet the needs of all learners

Teach a range of computing and IT topics, including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity and digital literacy

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving and independent thinking

Contribute to departmental planning, extra-curricular activities and whole-school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

Have experience teaching Computer Science or ICT at secondary level

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital education

Be confident using a range of software, coding languages (such as Python or JavaScript), and digital tools

Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills

Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement through inclusive and dynamic teaching
