This is a fantastic Cloud Security Engineer contract opportunity to join a leading tech organisation.


The Cloud Security Engineer position isHybrid with 2 days a week onsite in the Liverpool office, remote the other 3.


The Cloud Security Engineer isOutside IR35.


As Cloud Security Engineer you will act as security authority for the existing M365 and Cloud (Azure) environments, championing best practice (eg CIS) whilst being hands on from an engineering perspective. As Cloud Security Engineer solid Azure, M365 and E5 suite knowledge is essential. Strong Infrastructure with all things InfoSec related regarding Windows, Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint environments, firewalls etc is essential as Cloud Security Engineer including Networking and Server Hardening etc. Experience with DLP (Data Loss Prevention) is essential as Cloud Security Engineer with knowledge of Zscaler being essential, Darktrace is a bonus. Knowledge of best practices and procedures in relation to general Security such as CIS and experience of investigations (for example email) are essential as Cloud Security Engineer as is knowledge of the associated E5 security tools, Defender (including for Cloud), Entra ID, Sentinel, etc as Cloud Security Engineer. Any experience as a Cloud Security Engineer within the fintech, banking, investment space is highly desirable as Cloud Security Engineer but not essential.
