A Global Enterprise Organisation requires a Contract Cloud Security Architect (Azure) to join their newly formed Cyber Transformation Programme to assess the current posture of Azure, recommend improvements, and assist in implementing them.

  • Duration: Initial 6 months
  • Travel: Fully Remote

This Security Architect should have the following experience:

  • Experience working within a global organization with an immature Cyber function as a Security Architect providing expertise across Azure.
  • Led security posture assessments across Azure cloud environments, identifying and addressing key areas for improvement to enhance overall resilience.
  • Designed and implemented enterprise-grade security architectures and frameworks for complex, multi-entity organizations, aligning with business goals and maturity targets.
  • Partnered with IT and business leadership to embed cloud security best practices into operations, ensuring consistent policy enforcement across all units.
  • Developed and institutionalized security standards and training, fostering a security-first culture and upskilling teams on Azure-specific protocols and emerging threats.
  • Contributed to the establishment of a SOC.
