Our lovely Client based in Worcester is currently recruiting for a Client Manager to carry out the following:

Role Overview

As a Client Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering proactive and client-focused accountancy services. You'll manage a portfolio of clients, lead and develop a high-performing team, and uphold company values in every aspect of your work. This role is about more than just numbers—it's about creating lasting relationships based on trust and understanding.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

Manage the performance, development, and engagement of your team through I-to-Is, mentoring, and training.

Delegate tasks effectively, identify learning needs, and provide coaching to empower your team.

Create a positive and collaborative team culture that embodies our core values.

Client Relationship Management

Build strong, trusting relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings.

Provide empathetic advice and prompt support for client queries.

Represent clients with HMRC, including managing investigations with care and diligence.

Business & Tax Advisory

Deliver tailored advice that reflects clients' unique needs and goals.

Proactively identify opportunities for additional services and present them as added value to clients.

Regularly review fees to ensure they align with the services provided.

Practice Improvements

Drive efficiencies by suggesting and implementing improvements in procedures.

Support other Client Managers and contribute to shared team success.

Technical Expertise & Compliance

Stay informed on tax laws, sector specialisms, software, and legislative updates to enhance service delivery.

Review work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to best practices.

Business Development & Networking

Attend networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings to promote the firm and identify new opportunities.

With support from Business Development Manager, develop your own business development plan, adhere to it, and evolve it as needed.

Contribute to written and video content for clients, prospects, and social media channels to enhance visibility and engagement.

Consistently meet and exceed targets, achieving KPls and contributing to firm growth.

Workflow & Deadlines

Plan and monitor team workflows, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.

Adhere to and uphold practice procedures to deliver a high-quality client experience.
