Our client provides computer forensics, mobile phone forensics and cell site analysis to the legal sector, police forces, local authorities, and commercial organisations. The organisation also provides Cyber Security services, e-discovery services and digital investigations services to a wide variety of customers and maintains specialist teams to deliver these services.

The Position
During an exciting period of growth, our client looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join the existing Team.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for broadening our reach to new contacts and organisations and nurturing contacts. It will involve working on new sales channels and territories and establishing brand new relationships promoting the services of the Group.
Generating enquiries and leads into the Sales department is a significant part of the role so the chosen candidate will need to be a self-motivated, hardworking, tenacious hunter gatherer with an adaptable dedicated and productive work ethic.
To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality and confidence in delivering outbound calls and handling inbound warm leads.
This role is ideal for someone who excels at relationship selling, has a warm and enthusiastic personality and the ability to talk to anyone. The candidate should be organised, effective with a positive outlook and an engaging personality.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify, target, and engage potential clients through outbound campaigns, cold outreach, referrals, and networking.

Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their investigation needs and provide tailored solutions using industry-leading tool.

Account Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster trust and drive repeat business.

Sales Growth: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth of the business.

Collaboration: Work in partnership with technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.

Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Supporting Tenders/Bid writing as required.

Lead generation and data building through proactive and consistent outreach.

Demonstrate strategic use of social media and LinkedIn

Work with Marketing on targeted campaigns

Understand client challenges and propose tailored cybersecurity solutions.

Use CRM to manage sales pipeline, track communications, and ensure timely follow-ups.

Create and maintain accurate records of sales activities, deals, and client interactions.

Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute targeted campaigns and track their performance.

Essential Skills & Experience

Sales Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in legal tech, IT solutions, or SaaS industries.

Knowledgeable user of HubSpot (or another CRM)

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity trends, solutions, and customer pain points.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to breach out into new markets and sectors.

Consultative Selling: Ability to understand complex client requirements and deliver value-driven solutions.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and growing client portfolios.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-Motivation: Highly organized and able to manage time effectively, whether working remotely or onsite.

Self-starter with strong time management and organisational abilities.
