Account Manager – UK & Europe | Enterprise & Mid Market SaaS | Fraud & Risk Domain


I am searching for anAccount Managerfor my client, a global enterprise software company focused on fraud prevention and risk based authentication solutions. Their cutting edge platform is trusted by thousands of financial institutions worldwide to safeguard digital transactions and accounts.


This is a newly created Account Manager role for the UK and European region, offering the opportunity to manage a portfolio of mid sized customers, drive renewals, and grow accounts through upsell and cross-sell initiatives. The role sits within a high-performing commercial team and is key to expanding the business outside of the US.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers across the UK and continental Europe (with occasional accounts in APJ)
  • Take ownership of renewals and revenue expansion opportunities within medium-sized accounts
  • Drive new business activity across your assigned territory — approximately 50% of the commission plan
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Solutions) to support value delivery and drive account success
  • Stay ahead of renewal timelines, proactively identifying growth opportunities


Key Role Details

  • Reports directly to VP and C-level leadership
  • Territory spans UK and multiple European countries, with a small number of accounts in APJ
  • Compensation includes a 60/40 base to commission split, with accelerators for overachievement
  • Portfolio value includes a healthy mix of expansion potential and predictable renewals


What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years’ experience in B2B Account Management or Sales within a software/SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales process from pipeline to close, including renewals and new business - Hunter Mindset
  • Experience handling deal sizes between £90K and £150K, ideally within a territory worth ~£2M
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills — confident, credible, and commercially minded
  • Proven ability to drive upsell and cross-sell motions while managing existing accounts with care
  • Ability to independently manage a territory, develop strategic plans, and act with ownership


Tools & Mindset

  • CRM experience is required (Ideally Salesforce), but success in this role relies on proactivity, not automation
  • Organised, thoughtful, and strategic — capable of balancing multiple accounts and workstreams
  • Experience in fraud, risk, authentication, or cybersecurity is a plus, but not required
  • Experience in selling to the banking industry a huge advantage but not essential


Compensation

  • Base Salary: £77K – £85K
  • OTE: Approximately £141K (uncapped with accelerators)
  • Commission Plan: 50% renewals / 50% new business
  • Travel: Up to 50%, primarily across the UK and Europe
