Join the team and play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining their network and cloud infrastructure. As a Cisco L1/L2 Network Engineer, you'll ensure the stability and performance of the network while leveraging your AWS skills to manage cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and maintaining Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitoring network performance, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to optimize network performance and reliability.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting network devices and services, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
  • Assisting in the deployment and management of AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3, VPCs, and IAM.
  • Performing routine network and cloud administration tasks, such as patch management, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborating with IT and operations teams to ensure effective network and cloud integration.
  • Documenting network and cloud configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Staying updated with the latest networking and cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends.

Skills/Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
  • Experience with AWS system administration, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and other AWS services.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network and cloud-related issues.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or similar are highly desirable.

Salary:

  • $45 per hour
