Our client is a specialist technology organisation delivering secure digital solutions into highly regulated environments. They work on complex, high impact projects where security, reliability, and innovation are key. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are looking to appoint an experienced Security Engineer to join their team.

THE SECURITY ENGINEER ROLE:
As a Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and support secure systems in sensitive environments. You will work closely with engineers and architects to enhance security tooling, manage privileged access, and maintain visibility across infrastructure.


You will be involved in credential management, network discovery, access governance, audit and compliance reporting, and security monitoring. The role also includes troubleshooting complex issues across infrastructure, identity systems, and security tooling.

SECURITY ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
* Experience deploying or managing security tools such as vulnerability scanners or endpoint detection platforms
* Knowledge of identity and access management, directory services, or privileged access solutions
* Understanding of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
* Experience working in secure or regulated environments
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work at a detailed technical level
* Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, or Agile environments
