Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team and drive sales of our innovative IT software solutions across the North East of England. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of selling IT software or related technology solutions to businesses, with strong networking skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development: Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities in the North East region.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within both new and existing accounts.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the customer base.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of our IT software products and solutions to effectively present their value to clients.

  • Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and lead negotiations to close deals.

  • Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through CRM tools, ensuring follow-ups, forecasts, and updates are accurate.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, technical support, and product development teams to ensure customer needs are met.

  • Reporting & Feedback: Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to the management team, highlighting opportunities and challenges.

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales performance of the company.

    Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a sales management role within the IT software or technology sector.

  • Strong track record of success in new business acquisition, account management, and delivering sales targets.

  • Ability to engage with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers to influence and close deals.

  • Knowledge of IT software solutions, particularly in sectors like cloud computing, cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise software.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
