Sales Manager – IT Reseller Division (Build & Scale Role)

Location: Newmarket (Hybrid)

Salary: £50-60,000 + Uncapped Commission

The Opportunity

Our client is an established and growing Managed Service Provider with a strong UK presence across managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.

As part of their continued growth, they are launching a new IT Reseller Division and are seeking an experienced Player Manager to build, lead, and scale this function from the ground up.

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to create and shape a new revenue stream within a successful and well-positioned business.

Sales Manager Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of establishing the reseller division, combining strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution.

Initially, the role will be heavily focused on personally generating revenue, developing pipeline, and securing early wins. Over time, the individual will build and lead a dedicated sales team, defining structure, processes, and culture.

Sales Manager Responsibilities

* Drive new business through consistent outbound sales activity

* Re-engage and develop opportunities within the existing client base

* Sell IT hardware, infrastructure, and related solutions

* Build and manage a strong, high-quality sales pipeline

* Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the division

* Establish pricing, quoting, and margin frameworks

* Work closely with internal teams to support delivery and growth

* Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team

Sales Manager Profile

Our client is looking for an individual who can combine strong individual sales performance with the ambition and capability to lead.

Key experience includes:

* Proven success within IT channel sales (reseller of any description)

* Strong outbound new business track record

* Experience selling IT hardware, infrastructure, or technology solutions

* Commercial awareness, including pricing and margin management

Sales Manager attributes:

* Highly driven, target-oriented, and resilient

* Comfortable operating in a high-activity outbound environment

* A self-starter with a “build” mindset

* Ambitious, with a clear desire to progress into leadership
