The Role

As the first point of contact for all internal IT support, you'll play a vital role in keeping a high-performance organisation running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware across computer and network systems
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues with confidence and efficiency
  • Repairing and replacing damaged components as needed
  • Ensuring security across client and server machines through antivirus and firewall management
  • Supporting colleagues when they encounter technical challenges
  • Testing new hardware and software ahead of full-scale rollouts
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date technical documentation

About You

You'll bring a solid IT foundation, a calm problem-solving approach, and genuine enthusiasm for technology. We're looking for:

  • 2+ years' IT support experiencein a professional environment
  • Good working knowledge of IT applications and infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills — you're comfortable engaging with people at all levels
  • Organised, dependable, and a genuine team player
  • Experience with SNMP, BACnet, or Modbus protocols is desirable but not essential
  • Living within commuting distance of Oxford is advantageous for regular office visits
