IT Support Analyst

A large and highly successful business is looking for an accomplished IT Support Analyst to join its team based in Stockport. Please note this is an onsite and field based role – you’ll work from the office in Stockport 2 or 3 days per week and spend the rest of your time supporting users at other sites across the country, so a full UK driving licence is mandatory.

In order to be suitable for this role, you MUST be an excellent communicator with demonstrable expertise providing a proactive 1 st and 2 nd line user and systems support service in a Windows environment. You will have experience with hardware support for laptops, PCs, switches and printers, along with excellent Office 365, Windows, Azure and Active Directory experience. You will be a natural problem solver with a passion for technology. Key requirements include:

• Strong background in 2 nd line IT support and infrastructure management

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows client environments

• Solid IT hardware experience

• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices

• Flexibility to travel for work

As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance and development of the technical environment. Working with a broad range of technologies you will provide a proactive support service, ensuring systems remain accessible, available and well managed.
