Our client, an innovative and fast-growing organisation, is seeking a motivated Cyber Security Assistant to join their information security team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology and security to gain hands-on experience while learning how organisations defend their systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Assisting with monitoring systems and networks for potential security threats or vulnerabilities

* Supporting security incident investigations and helping document findings

* Helping maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation

* Assisting with vulnerability assessments and security testing activities

* Supporting security awareness initiatives and helping promote best practices across the organisation

* Working with IT teams to ensure security measures are implemented and maintained

What We’re Looking For:

* A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not essential)

* Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and information security principles

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset

* Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

* A genuine interest in cyber security and emerging technology threats
