We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Communications Network Manager to join our team. This role will report directly to the Network Capability Manager and will be part of the Technology, Strategy Regulation, and Support Services directorate.

Role Overview:

As a Corporate Communications Network Manager, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of our on-prem corporate network infrastructure. You will work closely with third-party Communications Service Providers (CSPs) to provide technical direction, assurance, and ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and strategies. You will foster strong, collaborative relationships between internal teams and external CSPs to ensure seamless delivery.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily communication and collaboration with third-party CSPs to execute the communications network strategy.
Develop and implement network processes to align with strategic objectives.
Design repeatable network models for implementation by CSPs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for on-prem network infrastructure.
Provide technical assurance on deliverables from CSPs ensuring alignment with requirements, policies, and standards.
Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks associated with the on-prem network infrastructure, translating technical details into business impacts.
Manage and communicate changes to the on-prem corporate network infrastructure, ensuring clear communication of potential business impacts.
Act as the technical SME for the network infrastructure, supporting incident, problem, and major incident management processes.
Ensure capacity management of the network infrastructure, proactively identifying potential future issues and formulating mitigation strategies.
Support and promote an inclusive, collaborative working culture with internal teams and third-party CSPs.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Maintain security protocols and disaster recovery strategies.
Scope:

You will report directly to the Network Capability Manager within the Technology Department, working with third-party CSPs to manage on-prem network infrastructure. Your team will oversee a network that supports approximately 6000 users across multiple sites, ensuring the secure, resilient, and reliable operation of our corporate communications infrastructure.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience managing communication networks with technical proficiency in:

IP network management
Extreme LAN switches and configuration
Multi-vendor, multi-technology IP network design
TCP/IP and routing protocols
Cisco Viptela SDWAN
LAN resilience technologies (SPBM, HSRP/VRRP)
ITIL framework
Avaya VoIP Platforms
Network design tools such as AutoCAD & Visio

Strong ability to communicate complex IT problems to non-technical audiences.
Proactive in anticipating and resolving network issues.
Understanding of the regulatory environment affecting IT infrastructure, with a focus on compliance and cybersecurity.
