Commercial Director/CEO (Radar/Sonar/Defence)

You will need to be based in North West England and able to commute to Liverpool daily

Salary upwards of £100,000 + Profit Related Pay OTE of circa £200,000 + Start Up Opportunity with Share Options + Pension + Benefits

Do you have proven Commercial/Sales Leadership experience ideally with a background in radar, sonar for defence or other relevant high-security industries looking for a unique prospect to run an already established business with the support of an experienced and knowledgeable Board?

On offer is a rare and completely unique position where you will shape and deliver its strategic direction. You'll have the freedom to lead the business, drive commercial success, and unlock new opportunities across the market.

This innovative and forward thinking company have clear growth plans and they are looking for a CEO to lead and run the business driving future growth.

This role would suit someone who already has experience at CEO level or an advanced and proven Commercial Sales driven Leader looking for a one off opportunity with long term potential.

The Role:

  • Set and deliver the company's strategy, business plan, and market position
  • Build relationships and drive growth through business development and partnerships across defence, including SME's, UK MOD and allied nations.
  • Lead the sales function and support product development alongside the CTO, helping to grow a high-performing team.
  • Oversee R&D contracts and grants, ensuring quality, compliance, and security standards are met for defence-grade software.

    The Person:
  • Proven Commercial/Sales leadership at Director level, ideally in defence, software, or high-security sectors, with experience scaling early-stage businesses.
  • You will need to have an understanding of government procurement, cybersecurity processes and ideally markets such as radars, autonomous navigation, or sonar.
  • Excellent communicator with stakeholder management and line leadership experience; UK national with SC clearance preferred.
  • Looking for a rare and unique role with a rewarding profit related pay as well as shares
