Play a key role within a leading investment bank, partnering with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure solutions across networks, applications, and cloud environments. Utilise expertise in IAM, cryptography, secure development, information management, and cloud security to strengthen security posture and support compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.

What you'll do:

  • Design secure solutions across applications, networks, and cloud environments, ensuring security standards and controls are built into delivery.
  • Carry out threat modelling activities to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and potential gaps within technical solutions.
  • Support secure architectural decision-making by assessing risks, business impact, and security requirements.
  • Work closely with both technical and business stakeholders, translating complex security concepts into clear and practical guidance.
  • Define security testing requirements and review findings to help ensure secure implementation.
  • Partner with engineering teams in Agile environments, supporting multiple projects and driving secure development best practices.

What you'll bring:

  • Proactive, solutions-focused individual able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of modern enterprise technologies, including Cloud, AI, APIs, microservices, and modern application architectures.
  • Knowledge of current cyber threats and experience with threat modelling frameworks such as STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Solid understanding of key security domains including IAM, network security, cryptography, endpoint security, and information management.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, COBIT, and OWASP.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, or OSCP are advantageous.
  • Experience working within public and/or private cloud environments.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with full right to work in the UK.
